    For a bloke to be in charge of a football club and be sat in the West Stand while outside there are hundreds of people queueing to get through only ONE turnstile that is open for the West Stand Lower is unforgivable

    This guy Gordon Shephard does NOT know how to run a football club

    SHEPHARD ....................OUT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


    I MISSED THE FIRST 10 MINUTES OF A MATCH I HAVE A SEASON TICKET FOR...............THE CLUB OWES ME MONEY

    East Stand Had An Out Of Order Turnstile As Well.......

    which lead to huge queues shortly before kick off.

    Arrived at west stand about 2:55pm

    Got in about 10 past.</p>

    Why cant the club just employ someone just to work 2 hours?</p>

    Message for site admin..............or anyone connected with the club

    Why was there chaos behind the West Stand Lower today ?????
    I barged through the Pontifract Road turnstiles to get in and others did the same

    When I got in and looked up there was Shephard sat in his usual seat while outside there was absolute chaos

    When are we going to have someone in charge at the club that knows how to run a football club and is there to answer for the club

    it says on your ticket terms and conditions, arrive 30 minutes before kick off.

    come later than that and you run the risk of missing the start.

    The club obviously do employ people to man the turnstyles but why should they pay for more than is needed just because people don't stick to the rules of their tickets?

    ONE PERSON (one turnstile) PER STAND............in anyones rule book is NOT adequate...........the guy Gordon Shephard is obviuosly not in control and therefore not up to the task of running the club

    I Wouldn't Have A Problem Getting To My Seat 30 Minutes Before The Start..........

    if our club put on some pre match entertainment. They do NOTHING to entice people to turn up early.

    Yep. Gordy should personally come down to the turnstyle, escort you in while holding your hand, carry you to your seat and then sit you down with a nice warm cup of horlicks and a blanket.</p>

    No Shephard should be on hand to solve problems where and when they arise

    If fans are trying to jump over the turnstiles at an all ticket match, that they have tickets for, there is something definitly WRONG with the management of the club

    Do not stick up or side with Shephard...if he cannot ensure that more than one turnstile is open for a whole section of a stand then something has to change

    Surely that's not Gordon's job?

    Wouldn't that be the job of the stadium manager as opposed to the chairman?

    If there are problems selling tickets
    If there are problems getting into the ground when there is only one turnstile open for a stand
    Then ultimatly its the Chairmans responsibility
    We do not expect the Chairman to be stood on the turnstiles but we do expect the Chairman to employ a stadium manager that is up to the job
    Ticket fiascos and now this......................Shephard is not up to it

    From that then, the stadium manager is not up to it, and Gordon needs to sort that as opposed to him himself getting sacked.

    Yes, but an important point here is this.............

    How many people has there been on here in the last few weeks complaining about ticket availability
    There was a guy on here this week even saying that Shephard had blanked him while he was complaining about the method of queueing
    And now we have a situsation where there is one turnstile open for a large section of a stand.......ONE !!!...........how unproffesional has it got to get before someone calls a halt to it

    Organisation of club is an absolute shambles, they think it's acceptable in 2008 for people to queue in the freezing cold for 8 hours to get a ticket to see a feckin football match. What an total and utter disgrace.
