    Sad to hear...

...about Cliff, although I agree he was strange.

I was there from 1981 to 1983 when ABI started. Do you know Simon Wilson?

By the way if your a mad engineer as your email suggests you would fit in well at ABI. http://www.abielectronics.co.uk/techaps.php

    Enjoy Cardiff.

    Aye

Simon was there when I started in R&amp;D[IMG]. Left after about 2 years. Bright chap - dont know what happened to him.</p>

I'm a mechanical engineer (though I mostly write contract documents!) I'm afraid so not likely to be any use to ABI.</p>

What do ABI do these days? didnt you used to sell some sort of eeprom programmer or similar device?</p>

    Got a Hamburg operation I gather!</p>

Did a Mrs Wroe work for you too? I used to go <strike>on the piss</strike> to the match with her hubby.</p>

    You mean Ann!

Yes she worked for us to years, now works with Steve in their own business.

He's a great guy would dive on to broken glass if he was Barnsley's keeper

    Thanks for your good wishes.

Look at www.abielectronics.co.uk or send a private message. Do you live in Barnsley or Worksop or somewhere in between?

    Good fun this

Don't have a clue you were after my time. Could mention a few names but can't remember many reds fans there. Here goes...

Alan, Tony, Dick, John... **** can't remember any more

Give me a clue, are you male or female? Most engineers are male but you never know
