He's having trouble getting onto the BBS so has asked me to post this message for him. He says "i have a brother that is disabled and he nerly didnt get a Season Ticket place last season because Everybody was declaring there grandads were disabled when they arnt. this is why the club has put the prices up for the helper and lowered the disabled persons price. i think this is a very good idea because then my brother gets priority of all of the 'others who just came for the free ticket'"
RE: Everyone was declaring their grandads were disabled? He says : they were just calling them disabled because they were old
RE: Everyone was declaring their grandads were disabled? or maybe the club should ask for proof of disability, you know, like you would with other organisations when requesting consessions
Artex Monkey "Everybody was declaring their grandads disabled when they arnt" Got to be Roystons Artex Monkeys next song title.
I Know the Person who runs the Disabled Stand and the amount of people who didnt get a Season Ticket who had been going how X amount of years was amazing. They should prove they are disabled by doctors notes or something i think.
Anyone can forge a Dr's note Still awaiting proof that "grandads" who do not have a disability get disabled season tickets. Plus, a definition of the disabled would be great Panda Tyke.
RE: I Know the Person who runs the Disabled Stand The simple answer is a blue badge, which you are only entitled to if You are receiving higher rate mobility allowance Middle or higher rate care allowance If you have a blue badge, it is registered and there is a photograph of the holder on it Owen
just run it by me again How lowering the price for a disabled person and raising the price for an helper (the same outlay in the end) will mean your grandad gets to watch the game.
Whatever you do, don't tell him to get a seat in the East upper

I'm sure it makes sense In his own little head. Remember, all disabled people over the age of 60 are faking it
