.......... saying that ...... ‘we don’t need new players’. We do !!! Experienced midfielder and at least one other striker - especially if Moore goes. It’s a long long road to the next transfer window in January. Anything can happen during that time - including major injuries. We need as much cover as possible.
have to agree with you here Nudge. I believe the current set of players will improve game upon game, as they get to know each other better. But we could do with a couple more.
Nudge, what's happened to you???!!! I used to find you the funniest poster on here by a country mile. Funnier still when folk didn't realise you were on a **** take and used to rise to it. Carry on with all this 'sensible b0ll0cks' and I may have to block you. You fooooooker.
Alongside the need to get 2 or 3 additional players in the most critical task on Dane’s list to do is to get Daniel’s contract extended, although the second item may be dependent upon the first
Definitely need a striker if big Kieffer goes. A left back too. Think we'd be fine in midfield as it is. Plenty of competition, unless longer term DS wants to use a defensive midfielder and needs cover for Dougall.
Massive need for a striker. There's no way Cauley can play 46 games a season working as hard as he did on Saturday.
Dane it's a long road and you'll get there quicker on a tandem. If you like cover there's plenty in the woods near Darfield.
for all we know, there may well be a release clause in kiefs contract, which makes it impossible for us to keep him if the right bid comes in. but there's no way we can afford to let him go, without having a suitable replacement lined up. cauley just isn't a lone striker, and conor chaplin is about 3ft 6
I agree with you,but at the same time how refreshing for a head coach to back himself to get the job done with the resources already at his disposal. Most managers/head coaches want more money spent, more players bought. Stendel is clearly an excellent coach who is confident in his own ability. Quite an asset to the club.
