This is my opinion and my opinion only...
Are you happy taking the club to the demise we can ill afford? If so you should be ashmaed after your achievements last season!! Why do you continue to play Odejayi and before I get slagged off I DONT CARE IF HE SCORED THE GOAL THAT TOOK US TO WEMBLEY, that was last season this is a new season, Odejayi is a good League 1 player not upto Championship standard, Mostto hasnt been given a chance to prove himself and I think after a few games would come good, last season he had trouble adjusting to our game plus problems at home in Peru, so Mr Davey give him a go. We have a strong if not better side than last season and shouldnt be in the situation we are at present. I will always support the Reds through thick and thin like I have done for nearly 40 year but I dont want to see us back in the Lower Leagues. So Simon pull your finger out and sort it before its too late....

    Did you go?

Odejayi had twice the effect Hume and Macken had - he should start against Cardiff.

    RE: Did you go?

    I did

and although I accept the type of football we are playing suits him more I can't see how he improved the team when he came on - we had our best chance in the first half

All this **** about him battling up front and scaring defenders and win headers well Darren Moore could do better as he is bigger and better in the air but no one would like to see him up front

    Oh yes

Darren Moore could run and chase down that ball Odejayi challenged Rachbka with, or beat a defender for pace before turning another in the area.

no i didnt i had to work but a strikers job is toput it in the net and over 2 seasons he has yet to prove good enough. If he does I will eat my words but at present I just dont think he is upto the Championship

Have you been to a game this season West Mids Tyke?

Odejayi has been quite easily our most dangerous attacker, not least yesterday. As for Darren Moore, good in the air? Have you been to a game yet?

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha

Hume has a 50% strike rate this season (both quality goals) Odejayi has a 0% strike rate

Think that pretty much proves that Odejayi is not (and never will be) our most dangerous attacker

P.S He has the same number of goals in his Barnsley career as Stephen Foster

i undertstand that but he doesnt listen to his players so what hope have i got lol, its just my way of venting my frustration as a supporter of the situation at Oakwell just as others do at certain events, I could do it at games but Id get thrown out by a steward.

Macken has yet to score. He has been ineffective.

Because we are playing crap long ball stuff which doesnt work with Macken and Hume but for some strange reason Davey cannot see this

    RE: Oh yes

The thing is what does he do with it then? he certainly doesnt stick it in the net with any regularity, you can't afford to have a player at this level whose sole contribution is to run around a lot.You can't even saythat he uses his size to the extent that he should. At best he has a nuisance value and if he had a bigger impact than the other players it doesnt really say a lot for the satte of our club.Rant over!

    I've been impressed with Odejayi

when I've seen him and according to the commentators, he's always a handful. The trouble is, I can't imagine him ever scoring a goal from outside the area. I can't imagine him even trying a shot from that far out. And that's what I can't understand. Does he ever have speculative blasts? Why wouldn't you have a go if you were a professional striker? Is Odejayi's shot really that lacking in power?

macken nil rigter nil HUME 2 Mostto never given fair chance ODEJAYI NIL end of story. Donny red, everybody as the right to an opinion and the people on this thread have viewed theirs. As a Reds fan like you and everybody else we dont want to see our team suffer so lets hope things do improve and we can get up there challenging for the top like we should be.
