Ram my criticism of you back down my throat and get a good performance out of the lads, which, hopefully, will lead to a much needed three points. If you do that, I will be man enough to post on here to give credit where credit is due. Despite what some of the pro-Davey brigade may think, those of us who are wanting his removal as manager are still BFC fans and care just as passionately about OUR club.
Morning Jeff Thanks for your kind comments earlier, by the way, mate. I will always give any player or manager of Barnsley full backing during the game. However, if I feel there's something wrong I'll voice my opinion and concerns away from the ground. We need three points tonight and I hope we get them. It'd give me my first opportunity to do a bit of mickey-taking with you!!
RE: Morning Kev No probs mate, crossing fingers for you & yours. Can never understand the boo-boys myself. They supposedly support the team then berate the players/manager etc when the going gets tough - exactly when they need support. How is booing going to help someone when their confidence is low. Trouble is these days, people attach too much importance to what is written on messageboards and take it as gospel. The negativity seems to be constant on them. Anything positive and you're a "happy-clapper" and out of touch. Always seems to be different when actually at the ground though. Strange that. If you believed the internet, Paul Parry was going to get it all game for us on Saturday after his premature retirement from international football. A disgrace to the country intheir hour of need. Turns out his name was sung virtually all game. Don't get me wrong, if things are that bad you're feelings need to be shown and the club need to be aware. There's just better ways to do it though. Think you'll be waiting on the mickey-taking front btw (neer)
Can't make it unfortunately Didn't fancy the treck on a Tuesday tbh & I've booked the train for Derby on Saturday. I'm also in negotiations to exchange my first-born for a Sw*nsea ticket next Tuesday.
I have to say I'm usually a sycophantic, optimistic, happy-clapper when it comes to my beloved Reds. However, in my opinion, I just don't see any light at the end of the tunnel whilst Simon Davey remains manager. I desperately want to be proved wrong, I really do. As to your comments on the mickey-taking, we're going to have to raise our recent standards for you to be wrong.
That's just what we need .. yet another Jack in the dole queue We're doing ok at the moment. Nothing more.
