I hope you all enjoy a great night, and I hope I regret not going. But I made my decision on solid ground. I don't care about it being £25 - at the end of the day what's an extra sky diver - a pie and a pint? I just refuse to go and sit with plastic manure fans. There will be some in every stand, no doubt. I would have gone to most games against anybody - but not this. It'll be a bit of a joke seeing all four stands celebrating a Man Utd goal (should they get one...!). Hopefully there'll be no trouble, hopefully it'll be a glorious night for Barnsley FC, but i'm quite happy to stay at home with the young un whilst our lass is at work. There's cans in the fridge and the Sky Plus box will be tuned to 402, it's not like i'm not interested, just dont want to be part of a circus of pretend football fans, 'fans' of both teams as well. I'm guessing there'll be people there tonight who haven't been to a game since Wembley. That's up to them, and I dont want to stoke a fire or owt, but that aint what supporting a football club is about. I doubt many of them will know what that Chippy down the road from Gresty Road in Crewe is like. But each to their own, I hope it's a great night for all the reds attending.
RE: I telling ya if anybody celebrates a man u goal near me they can get fecking ready Very much one of the reasons I'm not going - cos i'd probably be labelled an idiot on sky sports news and get a life ban - even though I caused nowt. I aint advocating violence but if somebody kicked off at me or whatever... Not worth it
RE: I telling ya if anybody celebrates a man u goal near me they can get fecking ready They're all prawn sandwich eaters anyroad.
**** 'em.

I doubt it wilko, there'll be empty seats in the west stand, and I dare say one or two dotted around the Ponty and east stand will be vacant too. The trouble is if every supporter took your stand - there'd still be room for the glory glory boys. Just not for me, each to their own.
