Said that when it was announced they had 6,000

the free travel may increase their support to around 4,500 l reckon at the most. We should have split the North Stand, Home and Away fans.

indeed all 5782 of them

= 25 x 5782 = £144 300 x 82.5% x 45% = £53 571 less some expenses -say £50 000 to Barnsley FC

Wouldn't surprise me................but, I told yer so

They have never been a well supported club
Its only since the russian guy bought the club that the crowds have started to go up
But many of these new fans are trophy hunters who like to visit places like Man U and Arsenal
I can't see them wanting to visit Barnsley because which ever way the result goes they can't really win
That is to say if they beat us ............0-5........what will people say? .......well Barnsley are only a mid table Championship side and its expected that Chelsea would win by that many
And if we win of course its a huge embarrassment to them

Its going to be another PR disaster if they dont sell their tickets and there are 1500 empty seats in the North Stand while at the same time Barnsley fans have been locked out of the WELL

Amount net of VAT is not 82.5% of amount including VAT though, is it?

The 17.5% is on the net, not the gross.

How can they have paid for the tickets in advance?

Without knowing how many concessions would be buying tickets?
