very slow, not even a patch on a patch of the player that people seem to think he was at Sunderland, pass it to feet or he dosnt run, spends lots of time in the physios room, has a big time attitude and we are welcome to him, but they will want a fee above £100k. and thats an honest assessment, trust me. sounds ideal.
He'll get a scutch with that attitude.
Ritchie said after the Colin Kazba thing, that we were after a striker with not much experience, so all this talk of Bridges is balls anyway imho.
Uncompromising central defender a priority, but then again, it has been for as long as I've been watching Barnsley.

Bridges My mates a Carlisle fan and really rates him - scored a few when they went up last year - he'd be gutted if he left
We've had some good centre halves over the years I've been watching Barnsley - McCarthy , Evans , Futcher , DeZueew, May but never a real 20 goal a season man.
Still think we need to sign both a CH to play alongside Reid and a forward

RE: what about Kay Reserve CH - Reid is the classier player but he needs someone with a bit more physical presenece alongside him

Ah yes the legen that is ! Fair enough him and a couple of others but strikers who have hit 20 have been few and far between

Of football opinions this lad is fairly balanced, so when he says he aint all that at Pub League 1 level, I worry that we're buying a player on his form 4 years ago. again. and have we sufficient funds for a fee? I suspect we're looking at loans only.
don't agree - Kay is a better player in my opinion i like reid but feel he lacks the pace slightly. for me we are weak at both right back and left back and this needs addressing
RE: don't agree - Kay is a better player in my opinion I just really don't see this idea that Reid lacks pace. Two or three times against Southampton, his pace got us out of trouble. I'd say he's nearly as quick as Kay.

RE: Of football opinions According to some reports, Ritchie does have some money to spend,a limited amount I would have thought,
