we have a decent striker, its just that he never plays. nardiello, NARDIELLO, N.A.R.D.I.E.L.L.O!!!!!!!!!!!!
Please, Jimmy Red... Do NOT try to compare Chopra to Nardiello. He's so far out of Nardiello's league its untrue.
one difference.... Chopra has GONE. AND WILL NOT BE BACK!!!!! Nards is here, and can score more goals than any of the other ones. We all liked chopra, legend if you want to call him one already. But the fact is, we won't get him back. Let him Go, let him be free. As homer simpson once said. Quit living in the past
How am I living in the past? I don't for one second think Chopra will be back. I do, however, think Nardiello is overrated. He has a lot of critics, but I'd rather have Bruce Dyer. Honestly.
hypocrites booooing chopra when he first joined, becasue he was a PH signing keeping Nards out of the team, now everyone loves him!! if he could return i bet he wouldn't the way he was treated by the fickle bunch!!!! has anyone questioned why consecutive managers have not played him regular? Attitude maybe!? ps i still think Nards is the best finisher at the club before anyone has a go back at me!!
I Boo'd chopra because at the time he was playing ****... It was amazing how that suddenly gave him the "kick up the arse"... remember that time he looked back at everyone in the ponty end? everyone has a right to boo someone when they are playing crap if they so wish. This had no bearing on nads being out of the side on iota. I merely stated, that he has gone, thats it, end of, we have to live with that. And in the same post, indicated that Nads is the better finisher of what we have left. So how is that being hypocritical
wasn't been specific to your post but to fans in general fair enough if you want to boo players but personally i would never boo a player unless he plantently did not give a Sh*t and was he for the money (which is highly unlikely in our case), its not like they want to be sh*t is it? just that their form has gone, like our strikers at the minute!
RE: fair enough...nt i think the main reason people booed chopra was that he was a hart signing keeping nardiello out of the side. i think from day one he looked a good player but wasnt fully fit. i was disgusted fans booed him, at the end of the day was a kid 21yrs old we wouldnt have done it to one of our own. anyway its all in the past now, he was class of that im sure everyone agrees on.
chopra stepped it up about 3 gears from the very moment he was booed against blackpool Which goes to show that he wasnt putting in the effort that he could do before he was booed.</p>
RE: chopra stepped it up about 3 gears from the very moment he was booed against blackpool still dont think booing him was right thing to do tho. he was only young and adapting to playing in a new team. we are far too quick to jump on players backs at this club. granted tho he did improve a hell of a lot, but i put that more down to fitness and settling in than owt else. booing can only have been a negative thing in my eyes.
That is Absolute Nonsense His effort before and after that game was no different. That argument is spouted by those trying to justify their ridiculous booing of a Barnsley player.
RE: chopra stepped it up about 3 gears from the very moment he was booed against blackpool what a load of *****, he was'nt match fit you pillock, have you ever made a positive comment about this club or anyone connected with it.
