Not really sure what his best position is but yet again he made a positve impact on the game yesterday

In our current predicament I cannot understand why Davey persists with certain players who contribute little or nowt and Coulson can't get a look in

I would too and he can always be moved out onto the wing if needed as he looked very lively there yesterday

Feel sorry for the lad when he has hardly had a chance in the team then people come on here saying he is not good enough

    But he's not.

Running around does not a good player make. Alex Neil ran around a lot. Why was he any worse? Was it the wrong kind of running?

    Based on how many games?

Apart from Macken all other strikers have proved they aren't good enough

We could see after a handful of games that KO was not up to it. Coulson does put a lot of work in but does not seem to be able to do anything special and is a little on teh small side.

It will always be champy to me. I'm pretty sure Davey doesn't play the game - Mosstto is a goal machine!

Anyone got any tips for being Barnsley on the latest version of FM08? I'm actually doing worse than we are in real life...

    RE: Football Manager

Haven't played for a few weeks but my front 2 are Mostto and Christensen believe it or not and they never stop scoring!

    Try and get

    Kieran Lee from Man U

found it easy to get hold of him and is immense at left back and makes a good pairing in midfield with Howard.

Mostto and Christensen up front for me most of the time. I bought Malcolm Christie who isn't too bad either and Kevin Phillips but he seems to do **** all.

I'm currently fighting for play offs.

    RE: But he's not.

Agree. You can tell when a youngster has something special and is going to make it. Coulson is a worker but that alone is not going to elevate him above being a reasonable lower league player. By definition he will have 'made it' by earning a living out of the game, but our interpretation of it is whether he can be a success at our level. If he does it will be because we've been relegated.
