As a Wolves fan i can't believe we have actually signed a decent player for a change, who didn't cost us millions in transfer fees and wages.

But why did Barnsley let him go so cheap, he is already one of our best players and must surely have been one of yours.

Was there some fall out behind the scenes, anyone know?

Hope Barnsley stay up, which will mean that Leeds will most likely have gone down :D :D :D

Had a clause in his contract which meant he could move on to a 'bigger club!!! If we didnt have that clause we would never have signed him originally.

    Good player.

You are going to get inundated with replies... still here is mine.

McIndoe is a mercenary who will act in his own self interest on a short term basis, and will leave at the drop of a hat. If he signed a contract with you, which is the same one as he had with us, he has a walk out clause that he can activate whenever anyone else comes in. If he plays well enough to catch the eye he'll be at Man City or Wigan in about three or four months. McIndoe walked out on us, just as he walked out on Donny and the club before Donny. He is, by all reports, an arrogant little swine who sees himself as the star player and he gets backs up in the dressing room. He was our best player (full stop). The other players resented him though.

Mcindoe is always on the lookout for a bigger club and who can blame him. even at DOnny Rovers he alwasy got in his interviews that "he had a good game and is sure he could be playing at a higher level" he even had a clause in his barnsley contract that stated he could leave the club if any club made a bid for him even if Barnsley didnt agree. Hence the easness of him leaving

Yes he is a good player, but dont expect loyalty if you start to play poor, unlinke many i dont hate him for leaving i suppose if i was playing at the bottom of the league and another club cam in for me i would leave. HE is a very skillful player but watch for his arrogance about hoow good he "really" is.

i dont know about the rumours of his arrogance but he is a top quality player who tried his hardest every game, brilliant, premiership quality player.

Dont you think its a bad move when you think about it though. Wolves have always under-acheived, if McCarthy gets the chop then the new man will bring in new players. If they go up they'll replace him anyway, hes not premier league standard.

If he had any brains, he could have stopped here, became an hero and then moved if we went down to a club that might just go up.

I think hes just grabbed the money, to me going to Wolves is a sideways step and if they do progress he will be one of the first out.

He wasn't well liked in our dressing room. I am also told he is very self centred and absolutely loves himself. All he talks about is how good he is.

Allegedly quite unpopular with most team mates - he weakened dressing room morale.
