What an awesome player. A winger in the old style. The final 5 mins (plus 5 mins of added time) of stepovers were a joy to watch. I salute you Micky Macca.
Love the tag line Dead Mans Shoes- what a great film. Have you heard anything about Shane Meadows new film " This Is England."?
RE: Love the tag line It's the film that's made the biggest impression on me in many a year, I love the performances from Paddy Considine( he is malevolance in human form) and the young lad that plays his brother, I actually thought he was disabled, but just acting. I saw an interview with Meadows about This is England, draws heavily from his upbringing with Skinhead gangs apparently
A few rumours are circulating Dave though... No smoke without fire.</p> Like I said I like him and its good to see him back on the score sheet.</p>
I'm not going to mention names... but a certain player mentioned it.</p> Apparently in training Mccindoe comes out with gems like..</p> "Pass it to me I'm the best player" etc and it pisses them all off.</p>
RE: Love the tag line i went to the showroom in sheffield to see it - the director was there and he did a question and answer session on it - best film i have seen in many a year. powerful stuff
RE: Love the tag line I would agree, probably seen it about six times now. I read an interview with some guy from Kasabian who said that it was strange to see a film where people talk like we do. Love the soundtrack too- very dark.
McIndoe, had my concerns about him when we signed him BUT so glad that we did. Always looking for the ball, and great to see him get frustrated when he doesn't get it. Tracks back well most of the time. I have no doubts that he will upset the players along the way, I heard from a few Donny fans that he speaks his mind, etc.
