I've never seen Michael Mcintyre live, and at those prices I'm never going to see him either. I've been to gigs in the past though at the Arena (Peter Kay, Norman Wisdom the II, and Frankie Boyle and I can honestly say it's **** for comedy. Without fail, I've never found them to be as good as the smaller venues like the City Hall.

could not agree more with smaller venues. Went to watch Billy Pearce at Lamproom and enjoyed it more than motorpoint arean

I went on Friday too and have to admit that I found him less entertaining. His last tour had me in hysterics and I was expecting the same on this one but was left a little disappointed. It may well be that he will never beat his previous one as it would be hard to beat. The mrs loved it though so maybe a differ of opinion.

Billy Pearce is great . But yes same show for some years now.

And yes mrs loved the show too but i found it a bit boring at times. Didnt help with the seats we got. That arean could do with a make over. Even Michael Mcintyre commented on the wooden floors
