    Unlikely to make the starting eleven for Grimsby on Saturday with a groin injury. Might be on the bench. Groin injury kept him out of latter part of last season and he had a similar problem going into the start of the season last year. Always did sound injury-prone. One year of contract outstanding, so I think we should definitely keep our money in our pocket.

    when Parkin loaned him from Sunderland for the run in to the relgation season.
