Bit of a weird one - one of the hottest properties in the league last season, looks like Swindon couldn't wait to offload him despite struggling for much of the season. No real takers so ends up dropping down a division. Bad attitude, flash in the pan, or both?

I thought he wanted to leave Swindon to be closer to the north east couldn't get much further away.

Maybe he heard that St James' Park is only a couple of hours down the road from Portsmouth....
