Think he had a nephew living in Wombwell by the name of Gareth Fenton. Mick was very generous when I spent some time in Sydney... Hope he's still with us.

Hi Mark, thanks for the reply. That rings a bell actually....I just checked my email and the last communication I had with him was 2002. Twelve years later and you wonder where the time went....

Was he down the back of the sofa? When I lose stuff it usually ends up down the back of the sofa.

I always check in on Mick when I'm Downunder. I was there last August as I had tickets for the 3rd Lions Test in Sydney. Mick took me out on the boat he was renovating and eventuality dropped me at the Opera House while he tootled back home. He asked me at the time to take him off the DL I had, as he was disappearing into the Bush for a while. He'd decked out an SUV and he was going Troppo!

Stainborough Castle. The Sydney based academy has been there three times now and have always had a brilliant time. Big thankyou to anyone on here who is associated with Stainborough Castle.. you've bin great ambassadors for yer town.

Alas, we never had a youth who made it into the Barnsley Academy for more than a month. Let me say, here, that the Barnsley Academy is full of fine people and the results are on the board, big style. Particularly Ronnie. Top man ... Barnsley are fortunate to have him in there.
