    hello, mate...

It is in the Eastern Suburbs (which would be the 'coolest' place in tarn)

Coogee is the next beach down from Bondi. Lachlan Murdoch (Rupe's son) and Sarah O'Hare (model wife) just bought a 6mil gaff there.

Crowne Plazas sound like a generic brand of good hotels.

You'd problies spend New Years Day on Bondi Beach with twenty thousand other waifs and strays and misplaced persons.

I'm on the North Shore and I don't frequent the young and cool spots...

and I'm arter t tarn 'til New Years. I'd catch a beer with you, though, first week and drive you round some views, maybe. JohnnyTyke and another 25ish lad will be near me at that time...

hold on... its the Sydney Test innit.... 2nd Jan. I dint got tickets yit..... a week in the boozer mebbee.

I'll give you my mobile number...

Anybody else coming down from Barnsley? I might put on a barby if there's a quorum.....

It's like going back in time, or East Anglia.

Check what bands are playing at the Coogee Bay Hotel while you're there.

    Tassie is rural.... country, like...

Troutfishing, sailing, bushwalking/rambling, farming, Apple Isle, sealclubbing, whalewatching.

Quiet lifestyle. If you like that kind of a life, then Tassie is right up your unspoilt valley.

Hobart and Launceston are nice towns with a bit (little bit) of life.
