SAMMY LEE is being lined up to replace Mick McCarthy as Wolves manager.
McCarthy is fighting for his job after taking just four points from his last seven Championship matches and they lie 10th in the table.
And chairman Steve Morgan, a lifelong Liverpool fan, is keen to bring in former Bolton boss and Anfield hero Lee.
Morgan has also sounded out another ex-Red, Paul Ince.
But the former England midfielder is determined to get a promotion on his CV with MK Dons who are sitting pretty at the top of League Two.

Sacked
Lee, 48, replaced Sam Allardyce as Bolton boss in April but was sacked after just six months with the Trotters second bottom of the Premier League. He became a coach at Bolton in 2005.
His managerial role at the club was his first after being involved in the coaching set-up at Liverpool and then with England.
But after a difficult start to Bolton's season, Lee fell out with several top players and coach Gary Speed who stepped down from his position to concentrate on playing.

Deserves To Be Sacked If......... he thinks Werling will strengthen his squad. He's going through one little run of bad form and his job is on the line. Probably worse than normal because they have been crap for ages (but stopped winning now).
