Surprised he wants the Nottingham Forest job. Just doesn't seem right a Barnsley man wanting to bring success to that city. Then again he robbed Hammill on the cheap before hardly giving him a chance so I shouldn't be that surprised.
I don't think the miners' strike would even cross his mind. It wouldn't mine, neither would the war if I was offered a job in Germany. I'd work anywhere in a decent job for a decent/good/excellent wage.
I can agree with your logic to an extent however if I was financially secure and didnt need to work I would not even consider the managers job at Sheffield United, Wednesday or Leeds. I just couldn't do it. Actually it would be a lot of furn taking the jobs and seeing how **** I could make them before I was sacked.
