I know the time for this has passed, as he isn't even here anymore, but when I saw this in Disneyland at the New Year I found it hilarious! I then proceeded to completely forget about it, until looking through old pics on my phone.

You mean you didn't buy it?!

There's no way I would have found a Micky Mellon baller and not bought it. It's the best thing I've ever seen.

Believe it or not I had to Google that. Never heard of a melon baller - I thought it was an ice cream scoop or summat. Another useful piece of knowledge stored away for the future.

Never took off here, but in America they're always balling melons for some reason. Fruit bowls/plates, a staple breakfast dish in every diner, are full of melon balls.

    "What you doing dad?"
    "Just balling a melon."
    "Whatever floats your boat."

I've never had anchovies. What do they taste like? I'm always willing to try new food.

They taste like salt. Lots of salt. You can tell they've spent all their lives in the sea.

I've really taken to eating a variety of fish this last couple of years, but I've never tried anchovies. I'm going to give them a go.

Take it steady, one at a time to start with. You can get some nice tins from Lidl for about a quid. And if ever you decide to have an anchovy pizza at Tiamo in Penistone, take your own anchovies with you.
