    having tried both

I would say they're both pretty similar. A lot of people tend to say Firefox is better, but I reckon they just like to think they're a bit alternative. Couldn't see any improvement myself.

    Firefox.

faster, more reliable, doesnt crash as often, more customisable and compatible with sites such as google, yahoo, etc.

and the new IE was based on FF. need i say more?

    Agree - Opera rules.

Use IE at home, just changed from Firefox to Opera at work & wow! Cannot believe I ever managed without it.

Makes me laugh though, when some sites say 'browser incompatible' & that I need to 'upgrade' to either IE or Firefox!!

Hardly ever happens, though, and still overall very happy indeed with Opera.

I would have thought IE wins the compatibility argument. Most developers code for IE as its the most common browser by a long way.

Yes - What about that last statement I made was a pile of /poo. IE is not based on Firefox whatsoever. :D
