Im having some difficulties using Microsoft Outlook. Ive set up a customer database for a restaurant and ive imported all the details into Microsoft Outlook. I have set up an Email account in Outlook, using the same settings as I have used for Outlook Express, however when I try to send/receive using Outlook I keep getting the "Please enter your user name and password for the following server" error. The correct server and password are entered - but it wont send and receive mail - even though they are the exact same settings that are used for Outlook Express, which works fine. Any ideas?
You haven't had caps lock on, have you when typing your details in? Have you got it selected so that it logs on using secure protection? if so, then that could be the problem.
