Doesn't show them wasting a minute or two on each goal celebration though. I thought that was pathetic for a friendly, all of them piling in back slapping and the rest and then walking back as slowly as they could to the half way line. I hate this kind of gamesmanship and there isn't a referee in the land who seems to do anything about it. He added one minute to the end of the match when Boro wasted at least four on their goals and there must have been a dozen subs. Perhaps that was a blessing in the end though - stopped them getting another couple of goals!
Like what I've seen of Mawson so far but you'd have to pin him for 3 of the 4 goals there I reckon. As has been said though we looked solid first half and then rejigged 3 of the back 4 in the second half and all hell broke loose. Can only hope first half is a more accurate reflection of what we're all about. To be honest I've still no idea why Roberts played right back and Holgate centre back.
