Extra £55+ VAT for ST holders, inc. two course meal. So, thick end of £70 for a two course meal then. What they serving, caviar and white rhino?!?!
I've said it before but the food they serve up in the exec is really decent as is the service. Shame that the same can't be said on the concourses! (Yet! - I think Ben Mansford will rectify this eventually but is tied with contracts currently) As for the price, I guess it's the experience that you are paying for. Pre-match ground tour, few drinks, decent atmosphere in the legends suite, Barry Murphy (and guests) pre/post match analysis, MOTM presentation, exec car parking, programme, tea & coffee at half time and CGC and the team look after you pretty well. Seems expensive but it's a good crack for a different day out at the footy and is good value compared to what other clubs charge. My mate who's a Leeds' fan recently emailed me with regard's our game with them and it was £170! Certainly something worth doing for a special occasion!
Would have thought our contract with Lindleys would have a get out clause on our behalf should we not be happy with the service they provide our fans.
It's a good Craic now and again. If your lucky you could end up sat next to Murphy and Gordie listening to Gordie rip a certain bbs user to bits... Although I'd go for a bar meal rather than the set menu.
Alright for Lindleys. All about getting the contract and then not caring because they will still get paid and they know we can't really do anything about it.
It's £66 per person, not £55 + VAT. Pricing it like that makes it look like it's for corporate people only. No-one can legally claim back the VAT anyway - if they do it's tax evasion.
Now that looks a lot better offer, the club just seem to advertise it as £66 for a meal at a game you have already paid for! All that extra stuff you have just wrote make it a lot more worthwhile!! P.S. ON the Ben Mansford bit....Any closer to arranging a date with him for the bbs meeting??
