Midweek: Great Saturday: Poor

    The story of our season so far.

    Midweek- 4 games played. 3 wins and a draw vs a prem team in 90 mins. 9 goals scored. Showed some sublime passing and attacking play in very good performances.

    Saturday- 5 games played. 3 defeats a draw and a 1-0 win with a pen. 3 goals scored. Relying on set-pieces and often resorting to hoofball in very poor performances.


    Make of this what you like but I certainly don't think this is a coincidence.

    I don't think it's a coincidence that the good displays have come against a Millwall team off a 4-0 defeat & 2 wins against S****horpe in cups who have a small squad & might not have the same desire to progress

    Hopefully the lack of midweek games for a few weeks can mean we play well on Saturdays now
