Interesting propsition? Same nationality, should know each other. Would it make a good double signing in the same way Pete and Stan did?

I was just thinking the same, but ....

Mifsud seems to think he is worth higher wages than we are likely to pay, unless we do a loan, or short-term deal for him.

RE: I was just thinking the same, but ....

he's reportedly on £8k a week at Coventry and out of contract in the summer. I suspect we'd have to match that to get him, and Coleman has said the reports of Derby having an offer of £200k accepted are way off: "That would buy one leg".

ie: out of our price range.

Why is it? We'd only need his other leg and his brain. Probably a grand total of around £700,000.

    :)

You would be happy with us signing a striker with three goals in the last 48 games why exactly......

youd be happy with the club splashing out 500k and big wages on a 32 year old journeyman?

RE: I was just thinking the same, but ....

I have always thought he would be a good signing, but given his age and the fact he isn't really a striker as such, I wouldn't want us spending that sort of money on him. 200k sounds about right but 8k a week?
