    good money, bet he ends up at blunts, cardiff or derby and gets a hatful. i know we have to be quite prudent, but for fecks sake lets show a bit of ambition once in a while

    It did say Barnsley hadn't confirmed anything but looks like the Philips money isn't going to be spent on a average striker with daft demands.

    hadn't a few deals for him fallen through due to personal terms

    sounds like it's as much his fault as ours if terms can't be agreed.

    he's scored 2 goals this season - hardly going to cause clubs to beg to sign him. he'll spend the rest of the season in Coventry reserves and then we'll see what happens to him.
