When are we gonna realise that if you want a better player you pay BETTER wages.....FFS and they are telling me this is progress

Spending loads doesn't guarentee a thing. I'd hate to see us pay him &pound;8k a week and then find out he's ****, or doesn't score, or doesn't contribute. Then we'd have an expensive mistake. At least the dross we have upfront won't be costing us much at the moment</p>

Admininistration would be infintely worse than going down to League 1

I just cant believe that some people would rather see us back in league one than show some ambition even if its a bit risky. We are no smaller than Burnley, Preston and others but they seem to have more ambition than us.

How can he pay more to get in? That's the price set by the club and they must have considered the income this would yield over the season

I can't beleve some people would rather we risk big wages on players and risk administration. There's showing ambition and then there's spending outside what we can afford. We have a wage structure for a reason.</p>

so these people are content to have a thrashin week in week out and be the laughing stock of the division...just as long as we can turn out each week...Sorry but that is not good enough. We've had enough greedy little ***** here in the past. Give me someone who comes for the club, and not the money, everytime. When things are tough, some money grabbing little ***** won't roll up his sleeves and get stuck in.</p>

Thrashed every week?

We aren't even in relegation. We desperately need a goalscorer but so does every team in the division. other clubs have larger incomes and consequently out bid us and pay more wages. our ambition has to lie in building a squad over time which is capable of improving in this league.

And we also spent £1.25m on a striker in the summer who is unfortunately injured.

look I am not gonna get abusive, but look at the points we have got in the last 10 games....8...its pityful. No we aint in the Relegation zone, YET. But at that pace you can for sure bet on it come the end of the season. Are you aware too that next season all the teams in the championship are getting £15million...I think with that prospect that it could be a good move to get some decent players in order to get that benefit, wouldn't you.

 

I'd sooner see us in the Conference North than back in administration.

Fair play to the club for sticking to their guns.
