I suppose it does give him more time to get his squad and team together. It's one more week of the loans gone though without them playing. Not a problem if we are keeping them for the season but Shea might only play 2 games and then be gone.
Not the case, Danny's furious. It was my first thought, but as he says, it's a game they have prepared for and travelled down. It will make the upcoming fixtures more congested and the return will likely be a Tuesday night with little away support. Plus, we are paying the wages of the loanees and this is potentially one less game we'll get out of them.
There aren't any. Charlton have a league match scheduled every coming Saturday. It will have to be a Tuesday night. 21st or 4th Feb seem likely, but it will depend on how the progress in the cup and how many more games will get postponed.
What if they lose their fa cup tie? They can't have a league game arranged for round 4 day. If Wigan are still in the cup we could play them then. Or am I totally wrong? Do we have a game scheduled for round 5 day?
And... we are now 8 points behind Wednesday If Millwall pick up under Holloway we are running out of clubs we are capable of finishing above.
