    Just been annouced completely and utterly out of the blue that 24 out of 60 of us are a gonner.

    I'm hoping as I'm in the top 3 or 4 performers consistently that I'll be okay but you know what life's like... :)S)

    Eversheds is huge.

    But we've been one of the most profitable areas recently which is why it's come as a shock.

    Huge firms are the ones shedding most jobs mate at the moment. In my trade some of the biggies are down to skeleton staff - others have gone to the wall after being left high and dry by builders.

    I run a small decorating firm if you were wondering.
