Pat, Ben and the guys to touch base with the end users , to stop us spinning and sliding into a corridor of confusion.

 

I'm already sidestepping bomb alley and wondering round the corridor of confusion. Interestingly I keep bumping into our team in here. Lewin keeps mumbling I'm not a ******* left back and Sam says a pass in his vague direction rather than 256 tippy tippy passes in the zone of nothingness then a big hoof down the alley of blindness would be nice.

 

Less PR bullsh it and concentrate on getting better on the pitch is what is required.

 

They're mapping their stakeholders as we speak. Expect a briefing session in the smoking bit at the back of Bramah's next week.

 

Then ask them some difficult questions, it shouldn't be a pat my back session like last time

 

I appreciate I'm in a fortunate position which enables me to attend these meetings quite often, as opposed to fans who can't get due to work or personal commitments, or those who live too far away. This being the case I always try to pass on what gets said as accurately as my feeble, old mind remembers. If I get an opportunity to pose questions of my own, or those suggested by people unable to attend, I try to do so.

 

Should be a weekly event then.

Let's be honest folks.....all we have seen from Benji since his arrival is talk being talked and meetings with fans producing more talk and grand intentions.

Fast forward to today and the team is still shlte, the football as boring as ever it has been and nowt changed with the ever discussed matchday experience.

Is it too windy to have a good team as well as being like Chicago preventing us having a scoreboard?

It's just ******** after ******** and no visible results yet they will have another meeting and all will be well again.

Enough....produce some results on and off the Pitch or please just leave.

I totally agree with you, my old friend. Let's see those in charge actually back the bloke they appointed.
However, it DOES get a bit tiresome when, after relaying what was said at the meetings, all you receive in return is sneering condescension.
If you keep quiet, there's accusations of being part of some sort of secret society, or having an 'I know something you don't know' attitude. On the other hand, if you report what was said you're then accused of being a puppet of the club, being naive enough to believe everything the club says (ie brainwashed) & being incapable of reasoned and rational thought.
Ah, well. Haters gonna hate.
