Croft departs relegated Norwich Croft came through the youth ranks at Manchester City Norwich City's player of the season Lee Croft has had his contract terminated one month early by mutual consent. The 23-year-old winger spent three years at Carrow Road, scoring nine goals in 131 games, but has left the club following their relegation. Boss Bryan Gunn told the club website: "Lee's made it clear his future lies elsewhere, this gives him the chance to explore other opportunities." The ex-Manchester City man is a target for Nigel Clough's Derby.
Might as well be the first to say it... We can't afford his wages/he wouldn't come to us/how can we compete with Derby for him? IMO I would say it's a good shout and we should go for him and there is no reason why he wouldn't come to us.
Wouldn't we be better ... pursuing unneeded players from promoted sides, rather than players from sides relegated from our level?
Would prefer to go back for Hammill to be honest See if we can get a season loan - him on one side and Jcr on the other vwould be a good pairing - Disco can always do a job as well
I would have him. Always been impressed with him. With him JCR, Disco and Hammill to choose from we would have plenty of options out wide, so no need to play our strikers out there.
