Early kick off and stand closure... Rotherham United supporters are reminded that this evening’s pre-season friendly against Middlesbrough kicks off at the earlier time of 7.30pm, and there will be a stand closure for operational reasons. The Morrison Community South Stand is closed tonight and as a result, travelling Middlesbrough fans will be in the southern half of the Ben Bennett East Stand. Some home fans who have bought tickets blocks ES5, ES6 and ES7 will be given alternative tickets in the East Stand as close to the centre as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused, and the same practice will be in place for the visit of Barnsley on Saturday. Supporters affected by this closure and wishing to change their seats prior to the game this evening can do so at the ticket office before 5pm. Anybody affected by the changes for the Barnsley game can also change their seats before 12pm on Saturday. Anybody not wishing to change, will be given alternative tickets at the turnstiles. The Millers suffered their first defeat of pre-season at home to Huddersfield Town on Saturday, and Steve Evans’ side will be looking to bounce back against a third Championship opponent. Daniel Nardiello is expected to miss out with the injury he picked up at the weekend, but there are no fresh injury worries for the Millers boss.
