We were looking for party places in Wakefield. One of our admin staff did a hunt 'round, got some menus etc, and circulated them to staff so we could decide. I thought it was a bit odd when the Thai restaurant had dollar signs against each item on the list - looked at the photo which looked a bit odd ....... looked up the place - Wakefield Massachusetts!! Just a bit far for an office do.
I recall being at Primary School in Wakefield in the 50s, and all the children were given a pencil from the burgers of Wakefield, Mass. I often wondered if Wakefield, Yorks. reciprocated.
