Penalty was correct but red card wasn't. Can't have denied a goal scoring opportunity if Tevez had a free header from 4 yards out surely.

Brilliant refereeing, Dzeko would have got there before Tevez.

Agree. Both decisions correct. I think he's a pretty good ref, usually.

But is that not how the advantage rule works? If harewood is fouled on the edge of the box but the ball rolls to Daggers who smacks it against the up right the referee should play on as we retained the advantage and missed a chance.

If one player is pulled back but the ball goes to another unmarked player who gets a free header from 4 yards isn't that exactly the same?

He is a sht ref but the penalty was correct and the letter of the law he can give a red

Not sure how you can wave play on after a foul then wait until the player misplaces the pass and then bring play back though -thats a Rugby rule not a football one

Disagree, a ref who's always in control

    Correct decisions, both of them.

Unlike the dive by Wellbeck leading to Man U's 2nd.

How can it be a foul if Wellbeck has hold of the defender to hold him off then falls when he saw the ball to far ahead. He did it all game.
