Yeah fancy that, the leader of the Labour party who was only elected by the union block votes attending a union gala in a Labour strong hold. Talk about going the extra mile. You really do talk a load of cr@p sometimes.

    Oh and where is Duraham?

pity the labour party didnt do anything for the mining industry when they were in power...they had chance to put right some of the chaos thatcher caused but were more bothered about banning hunting.....its also a bit ironic that now they are in opposition they are saying they got it wrong regarding immigration...perhaps miiliband was at the durham miners gala trying to win back the dissilusioned working class who either didnt bother to vote or chose the less popular parties.

I always find it amusing that the right wing press attack a political party ie Labour for supporting the working class who were the very people who founded it.

More surprising is his decision to set Blair on to oversee policy and manifesto....surely distancing himself from Blair
was a major reason for his leadership election victory over brother David.......very strange!!
