Hard-Up Colchester will be forced to sell forward Kayode Odejayi to Millwall.

Just to add we never got relegated with him up front probably saved us from relegation!

I find it hard to believe there are actually tarn fans who think he was anything other than bloody awful. Never a championship quality striker.

No matter what we think of him, there is a player in there, as anybody who saw him at Vic Road will testify. But IMO, he is league one/two level at best.
A handful though, and alongside Hendo, some defences are going to get knocked about.
    Good luck to Kayode :)

We have had other strikers that have been awful and don't get the same stick, one miss at Wembley has made him awful if he had scored that chance opinions would be different now.

I reckon Dave Regis would have scored more given 3 seasons. Awful player for us why Davey continued with him for so long i will never know.

    Were they?

He scored four league goals for us in seventy three appearances. His first was in a 2-0 over S****horpe in September 2007. He didn't score in the league again until he got a brace in the 3-0 win at Watford, April 2008. His last goal came in the 2-1 home defeat to Sheffield United, November 2008. The number of chances he missed, well, goodness only knows.
Yes he did score the winning goal in one of the greatest results in the club's history. However, his standard of performance and goal scoring for us was simply very poor.
