Know we've got a couple of people from the general area on here - anyone know a good one? It's just got to serve decent ale really, although I should have an hour or so to kill so if they do a decent sandwich/pork pie/scotch egg that would be welcome as well!
Not a lot around the ground to be honest, although you could get a four pack from Asda and a hot dog from Ikea, both next to the ground..... Depends how you're getting here, but if you're driving and I'm assuming you're coming from Barnsley, I'd suggest you stop off a Stony Stratford (off the M1 at J15, follow the A508 until you hit the A5, Stony just off the roundabout) on your way to the ground, plenty of decent pubs to pick from down the High Street. Only a short drive to the ground from there, either 3 junctions down the A5 or if you're brave enough weave your way through the V's and H's.
No, sadly getting into MK Central from Birmingham. Doesn't look like there's much around at all judging by a look on the local CAMRA website - I'll probably just try and get one in at the Wetherspoons near the station. Cheers anyway!
