    Was she a distant relative of Dennis the Menace? They certainly sported the same colours, but i seem to recall that Minnie wore a chequed jumper?

    No that was Rodger the Dodger... i'm sure Minnie wore stripes.

    Come to think of it, she did. So it was Roger the Dodger with the checks? I'm sure his old man looked very similar to Dennis the Menace's? Do you think they were related? And who came first (ooooo matron!) Minnie the Minx or Roger the Dodger?

    I do seem to be getting my Dandy's mixed up with my Beano's:eek:

    I can't keep the Beano and Dandy separate either! lol

    I think they all had the same dad with the long face and mustache ready to hit them with a slipper. Do they still put the beatings in the comic? Social commentary that.</p>

    Dads in comics seemed to look the same... mind you; i'm sure the teacher that looked after the Bash Street kids must have been a brother of Dennis the Menace's Dad?
