Minor complaint, what colour socks do we play in?

    I know they should be red, but check out how many wear White short socks or bandages over the top. Makes us look like a rag, tag and bobtail Sunday league team, there isn't a matching pair between them.

    Just going off to pack some bandages for my niece so she doesnt look out of place as mascot tomorrow.

    Agreed. It looks a complete mess in my opinion. If they insist on wearing socks over their socks or bandages or tape or whatever they hell they want to wear then buy them in chuffing red and show some pride in their appearance and in the club they play for.

    Looks no worse than each player wearing different coloured boots.
    Never noticed players wearing extra pair of short socks before, but ain't the tape used to hold their shin guards in place?

    Easy solution, go back to playing in white socks, with a couple of red hoops round the top. That's what we wore in the glavin and McCarthy era, and it finished off an excellent kit, bring it back say I.
