Would we have all this worry now ???

..................oh no we wouldn't !!!..............and what would it be like to go to bed at night and not be thinking what will happen to Barnsley Football Club if we get relegated..........now that would be nice..........a spring season with daffodils and leaves appearing on the trees and not having to worry about Barnsley Football Club

Can you remember those spring days...................cos I ffff...ing cant :(

Starved of effective service in some of his games. When we play the game how it should be played he looks a real goal threat. Jury still out so for me he gets a 7 but this is significantly more than the following... Oddjob (-46), Mostto (-12) and the ultimate pile of **** Rigters (-127) out of 10.

Ifthe ball is hoofed up in the air, he might as well be sat with me in the stand. If and when we play football on the ground, playing the ball to his feet chest, or in behind the defence making them turn. Hewilldevelop into a very good player.....His diving is rubbish, but that might come from frustration of seeing the ball knocked over his head to the 6` 6" defenders hes been playing against. When we have played football he has scared the defendersthat he has played against to death... even when he`s not getting the proper service..he runs his little nuts off.... great attitude towards start defending from the front...(Y) (Y) (Y) (Y) (Y)

    IMHO

Mifsud is a great player, wasted at this football club by a lack of support. The ball is played in the air towards him which is completly useless because he's 5ft nowt. He needs someone like bogdanovic along side him, instead of on the right wing, or at least someone with some height.
The one good thing which has come from signing Mifsud and Bogdanovic is that Macken seems to have stepped up his game becayse he's fighting fr his place.
    I'd give Mifsud 5/10

Mifsud lacks a bit of confidence in front of goal due to the abuse Morrison and co gave him at Coventry - but that will come. Bogdanovich is not the right player to team Mifsud up with as he does not like heading the ball, and Mifsud needs to have a target man as he proved when he had one in his early days at Coventry where he was top goal scorer with 17 goals. Therefore, at the moment Macken is the best player to have with Miffy up front. His work rate is exceptional - he runs his heart out from start to finish and given the right pass will scare the living daylights out of defenders. Davey needs to help him with the confidence in front of goal, but if he does that he'll be back to his best Coventry form. Defenders hate him - and that's what matters, as even if he doesn't score he'll draw attention away from the others possible goal scorers in the side. Considering he's a loan signing his effort has been terrific in my book. Up the Tykes.

    3

    Can create his own space/chances

however, finishing is woeful to say the least, is it 3 or 4 one on ones he's had now

Very fast, first touch as been a little rubish at times, won't stay on his feet enough

    AND

    OFFSIDE FAR TOO OFTEN!!!!!!

FFS give the lad a break........ works hard & has been unlucky not to have scored a few more

    Miffy's stats
    Pl. 8
    G. 2
    A. 1 (great cross for Boggy to head home vs QPR)

    From those eight games:
    W3 D3 L3 = 12pts from a possible 24

And in those eight games we have scored just 8goals. Of those goals Miffy has scored 2 and got one assist. On average 0.25goals per game. Equal to Hume (0.25), but better than JCR (0.21), Macken (0.18) and KO (0.04).

Like Miffy, Hume also failed to convert chances in his first few games and was just starting to settle when the horific sheff u debacle/incident happened.

Give the lad a chance its early days....... so far he's impressed me without scoring, working hard and making good runs. He's certainly the most likley goal scorer we have a the club at present!

I feel he will play a big part in next few games! COME ON YOU REDS
