The test match with New Zealand has just ended in a draw and he has called it a day at the age of 34. Fittingly he took a couple of wickets.

The man the English crowds loved to hate but a great character nonetheless. Cricket will miss him.

Like most aggressive fast bowlers he is certainly a decent guy. He was genuinely humbled by the reaction he got this morning from players and crowd.

Wonder if Jason Gillespie is one of his mates? He would fit in nicely at Headingley, if there is room for him

A top performer on his day. He's had a few really good years of late. He had a torrid time 4 / 5 years ago where he just couldn't seem to get anything right. Stomping round the outfield muttering to himself, he looked a spent force. Much respect to him for coming through that bad spell and becoming one of the most feared bowlers in test cricket for a time. Would love Dizzy to pull a few strings and get him at Yorkshire next season.
