Very respectful to us on their forum. They don't realise we've achieved more in the last week than they've achieved in their entire (admittedly short) history. Fraudsters.
Wonder who these MK Dons 'fans' aged 20+ all supported 10 years ago? Suppose we'll get a chance to ask them on the 16th!
"Poor draw. Do-able though" "Really fancy us reaching quarter finals. COYD" "IMO this is probably the worst draw we could have got, of course it does give us a realistic chance of reaching the quarter finals, but Barnsley will be saying exactly the same, they will be a really tough side to beat. Why couldn't it have been Man U, Man City or Everton away?" "Would think both sets of fans would be under whelmed- were fighting for autos- they're fighting relegation it's winnable for us especially as we're at home COYD." "It was me who wanted barnsley-i want this cup run to carry on! can't see them being to happy about coming to us"
all fair enough to me. we're saying pretty much exactly the same things. i don't think that's disrespectful
I have also often thought about who Dons fans used to support, kids fair enough they may have mostly grown up since their founding but grown men? There was a chap on 606 yesterday saying he stays out of the franchise debate as he is from Milton Keynes and so supports them. Before that did he like football but support no one? I'm not trying to sound funny here, as much as I disagree with what they did, but I am genuinely curious about where some of their adult fans have come from.
I know an MK Dons fan who lives in MK, but originally is from Lon and used to support Wimbledon. He supports them purely out of convenience!
My first thoughts on seeing the draw was that the only fans more disappointed than us would be the Franchise Dons fans. We're hardly a glamour draw for them are we?
