how come we're selling so many for this game ?, is it in case we win and get a top club away in next round and might need the stub to get a ticket, or because its a new ground or because its the fa cup or just our resent form
I'd rather they attended the Wolves game on the Tuesday. I'll be pretty disappointed if there's just 8,000 home supporters again. Fcukin MK Dons.
Don't think a mass boycott was ever mentioned. I do recall however, one or two of us stating we couldn't or wouldn't be attending, for various reasons. Mine is simple - I can't afford to do both the Franchise trip, and the Wolves game. I've chosen the latter at is it's money going into my club and it's arguably a bigger game where our support is most needed.
Which is a shame. I reckon had the Wolves game been played as scheduled on a Saturday, we'd have seen a marked improvement in attendance. I think the Wolves lot would have brought a lot more, too. Shame.
If we progress int cup, then future cup allocation should be tied to possession of a future home ticket/s if poss.
If we get a plum tie away at a Prem club, I hope the fact I was one of the very few to go to the Burnley game (as well as being a member) will give me priority in order to attain a ticket. After ST holders of course.
whitey wolves game was never scheduled for a Saturday, its always been Tuesday 19th of February since the day the fixtures where released
I want a ticket because l was in the crowd of less than 4,000 at home to Southend in 1994. Not saved my stub though.
Then you're obviously not boycotting it. There were more than one or two who stated they weren't going simply because of the whole franchise thing. I light heatedly just wondered how many more we might have sold had they decided that they would go. Not having a dig at those that can't.
