    1. Now update on JCR's contract talks........

    2. Reading have now sold Stephen Hunt and will be looking for a replacement......

    3. According to earlier thread Benfica are being linked with JCR too.....

    4. Plus we have signed a quality winger in Hammill, and SD is looking to add another winger tomorrow Hallfredson.....

    5. Hallfredson looks good prospect and I can't see him agreeing to sign on loan unless he feels he has a chance of getting regular first team action........

    6. Same could be said for Hammill, he already knew of the Hallfredson link. So would he have agreed to come if he knew he was to be playing in rotation rather than starting every week....?

    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

JCR is great player, and I do not want to lose him. If say we got £2m+ for him, this could fund purchase of quality forward and considering we now have Hammill and Hallfredson is likely to join, does anyone else think the club may decide to cash in..........

Hallfredson is natural left sider lives up to his reputation, and hammill plays on the right...... with the addition of a £1m+ forward would it be such a bad thing......?

Am I the only one thinking something may be going on behind the scene's........?

    Mmmmmmmmh........ 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 + 6 = 597643000

    strikers are sorted........

and real talent means a damn site more than 2m............we need defenders, spend 2m on a decent CB/LB.

Who's to say this Hallfredson is good enough? Simon Davey? Fans on here?

He might not be good enough to lace my boots

He's full Icelandic international 23caps, and being playing in Serie A for Reginna....

in the past we have signed players who had potential at youth international level kim Christensen and Maceo Rigters..... but both players form dipped mainly due to injuries, poor fitness levels and SD gave them a chance but they failed to get fully match fit and hold down first team place.

This lad has 23 full international caps for Iceland (who are decent side by the way), he has no history of injuries from what I can gather, and all reports I have read are glowing! Also had a brief stint in the premiership and has been playing regularly in Serie A for Reggina and scored a superb goal vs Juventus last season....... He's a natural left footer, something we have been looking for for some time.... he is also described in some reports as a hard man, and is a stocky build and 6ft 1" tall.... not seen him play personally, but in terms of CV and clips I've seen he sounds like awsome signing.....
