If we have that sort of money still available....

We need to spend it wisely, rather see an estableished centre half coming in really. Isnt JCL just a poorer version of Ricketts?

    this made me smile !

Don't sell him to Barnsley end of. The way they ****ed us about with the Paul Hayes transfer, they can go fish elsewhere as far as I'm concerned.

FWIW - I'd take £250k for him as there is little point in keeping an unhappy player

we do seem more flush with money than we have been in a long while

Whether this is true or not, we seem to have spent a lt more money on wages and salaries in the last year than for a long while previously

where has it all come from. I dont believe PC has been dipping into his pockets much further than he has already, as he wants us run as a proper business

Think it's just some very shrewd budgeting and prudent spending over the last 12 months or so. The club should be congratulated for that and for investing the surplus in the team. Let's hope the new players can push us on to the next level

Also its a bit rich after the way they held on to the transfer money the owed Rotherham for him when Rotherham nearly went out of business.

    Short memories.

And why didnt the come back for Hayes when he was out of contract if they wanted him so badly?
