Close at the end but we deserved the result. I need to stop getting wound up - the bloke who said o'brien was rubbish today must have been somewhere else. Not man of the match but he put a shift in. Defence did well until their first - should have gone for it more second half
Strange game for O'Brien. I thought he did well. He clattered into a couple of their players just in front of the dugouts and showed a new side to himself. JOB the enforcer. And he ran his ruddy socks off. But he was non-existent when he was back at right back and he also made some poor decisions when he got in the final third. On the balance of it though I though he did well today.
There was a bloke sat near me and Ponty who was slating Mellis today, saying things like he was *****, anonymous and ineffective. It's strange how people see things so differently because we thought Mellis had a cracking game.
He told me to save my money because I knew nothing about football - from him who was moaning because we won :-/
So did I shame he got injured on the stroke of half time. Clearly struggling after that but looked a quality player to me
