What apps are you all using to get live updates from our (or other) games? I normally listen to all our games, but I occasionally have to rely on live updates as I seem to have developed a social life again. :p

I've got an Android phone and I have this app called Onefootball that is otherwise quite excellent (the score updates are very quick, the app often notifies me about goals even before the live commentary, which can actually be a bit annoying!) but the interface is so damn confusing and badly designed that it's a bit of a pain to use.

Something rather simple would be good enough for me. I'm only interested in Barnsley's games (although it would obviously be nice to view other scores and tables via the app) and I don't need a ton of useless features that I'll never use. Of course a ton of useless features won't hurt if the app is still easy to use...

    Any recommendations?

Blatant self promotion but look at my app and select the Reds as your team. Fixtures and live scores only ever a couple of clicks away, and I'll try and add a link to live tables next week.

Not really done much with it for a while due to other commitments and I will be putting alerts & notifications back in soon.

Anyhow download 'My Sports Diary' it's on the app stores, FREE so let me know what you think.

Flashscores is good. texts u the second we score or concede, and gives all other results and in game tables. About 3 mins quicker than sky

Until recently I used Forza which was fine, but I'm now using FlashScores. You can click the star next to Barnsley and you'll receive goal updates etc. Be warned though, the updates are very soon after the goal, and even a little premature. Sometimes you get told there's been a goal, only to find out seconds later that it was disallowed! I like this app though. Very straightforward to use and several sports too.

I know that the title of this thread says "Mobile app live updates", but I didn't mean that you have to give me an update of what mobile app you use every 20 minutes! :p

Either livescores.com or I just use the Bet 365 website.

Obviously I would say this, but the BBC Sport App tailored updates are really good. You can set up all sorts of alerts. Shameless plug over.

I use Fotmob on my phone and generally the goal updates are good.

Live Scores App. Shows you who's attacking on a pitch graphic.
