I have a Nokia Lumia 520 Windows 8 phone. Anyway, When i ring anyone or when they ring me, I can't hear them and they can't hear me. I've checked all the obvious such as: no icons showing, no Mute on (although that would only prevent me from being heard) I've trawled through the help/assistance app.
My storage capacity is full and I thought that may be the problem, but I can send and receive texts. I've put an SD card in but can only save new data on that (I think).
    Run out of ideas basically.

Sounds like your phone thinks you've got headphones plugged in, there may be some fluff of something in the headphone jack, clean it with a cottonbud or something and that might fix it.

Otherwise it could be a bluetooth problem, turn your bluetooth off and see if that works.

If neither of those work, turn off your phone, remove the sim card (and battery if possible) and put it/them back in again then turn the phone back on.

Just seen this thanks. I already took the battery out earlier and it seems to be working ok now. Thanks all for your replies, much appreciated. TT
